Initial sales came from loyal blog readers, but Raj soon realized the importance of a solid customer acquisition plan.

Launching the Business

The turning point for TRVL MORE came when Raj started selling on Amazon. Noticing market gaps, such as a lack of variety in luggage locks, he repackaged his products to better meet customer needs. This strategic move significantly increased sales, and within a year, TRVL MORE was on track to hit $1 million in sales. Financing the business through credit card balance transfers, Raj eventually secured bridge financing. Exceptional customer service and innovative marketing strategies, including effective Amazon ads, played crucial roles in the company's success.
