About the Company

Subscrible is a pioneering mobile gaming app that offers a comprehensive catalog of ad-free games. By eliminating intrusive advertisements, Subscrible provides an uninterrupted gaming experience for users at no cost. This unique approach not only enhances user satisfaction but also fosters a healthier monetization model for game developers.

For gamers, Subscrible offers a seamless and enjoyable experience, allowing them to explore various games without the disruption of ads. The app includes popular titles like Archero, Asphalt, and Fantastic Jewel Lost Kingdom, catering to diverse gaming preferences. This wide range of options has helped Subscrible quickly amass a user base of over 15,000 active players.

On the developer side, Subscrible presents a unique platform that reduces user acquisition costs and increases player engagement. By aggregating multiple games under one catalog, Subscrible spreads the cost of user acquisition, making it more affordable for developers to reach a broader audience. This mutually beneficial model helps developers monetize their games more effectively while providing a better experience for gamers.

Idea Behind Company

The idea for Subscrible was inspired by Evgeny Unegovsky’s personal experiences with gaming and his professional background in technology. After graduating from ITMO University, Evgeny founded his first company offering website hosting services and later moved to Israel to work in MarTech and IT. His passion for gaming, combined with his technical expertise, laid the foundation for Subscrible.

Evgeny's personal life also played a crucial role in the inception of Subscrible. His child’s gaming experience was often disrupted by intrusive video ads, which caused frustration and anxiety. This experience highlighted the need for a unified solution to eliminate ads across multiple games, allowing for uninterrupted playtime and a more enjoyable gaming experience for children and adults alike.

Market research further validated the need for Subscrible. Studies showed that a significant percentage of mobile gamers were planning to reduce their spending on in-app purchases due to dissatisfaction with ads. This insight, combined with the observation that users often uninstall games with intrusive ads, reinforced the potential of an ad-free gaming catalog. Thus, Subscrible was born to address these pain points and offer a better solution for both gamers and developers.

Creating the Company

The creation of Subscrible began with validating the concept through a landing page and targeted Facebook Ads. The high click-through rate and strong interest from users confirmed the demand for an ad-free gaming experience. This initial success encouraged Evgeny and his team to move forward with developing the app.

Developing the first version of Subscrible involved significant technical challenges, particularly in ensuring the feasibility of disabling ads in games. The team managed to create two simple apps that captured user information and verified transfers from Subscrible, proving the concept's viability. This development was supported by industry experts, including Eduard, a platform engineer, and Bulat, a Senior iOS developer.

To simplify the initial version, the team decided to include only games that did not use interruptive ads or were willing to disable them for Subscrible users. This approach allowed for a smoother launch and demonstrated the platform’s potential to deliver multiple game installations from the catalog. Despite the challenges, this strategy helped establish Subscrible as a unique platform that offers access to a paying audience while reducing user acquisition costs and increasing player engagement.

Launching the Business

The initial launch of Subscrible faced several challenges, including low game installation rates compared to app downloads. The team conducted thorough analysis using analytics tools like Appsflyer and Amplitude to identify and address these issues. By optimizing texts, images, and app sorting on the Google Play page, and implementing a user recommendation system, they improved installation rates and overall user engagement.

Participation in gaming conferences and direct networking with developers played a crucial role in attracting and retaining users. Events like the Israel Mobile Summit, Nordic Game Conference, and WN Conference allowed the team to present Subscrible's benefits in person, building valuable relationships with developers. These efforts helped increase the platform's visibility and credibility within the gaming community.

In addition to conferences, the team leveraged LinkedIn and webinars to connect with developers and share insights on monetization and user retention strategies. These webinars, attracting over 50 participants regularly, provided a platform for exchanging ideas and showcasing Subscrible’s value proposition. The combination of these strategies helped Subscrible build a strong community of developers and players, driving the platform’s growth and success.

Earnings

Since its launch, Subscrible has achieved significant financial success, generating $85,000 in monthly revenue. This impressive performance is attributed to the platform’s innovative approach to monetization and user acquisition. By offering an ad-free gaming experience, Subscrible attracts a large user base, which in turn provides a steady stream of revenue for game developers.

Looking ahead, Subscrible plans to develop its own SDK to further enhance the gaming experience by disabling ads in games within its catalog. This development will attract a broader range of games, offering more benefits to players and improving game retention. Additionally, the platform aims to launch its own ad network with non-interruptive formats, enabling developers to earn more from ads while maintaining a seamless user experience.

Subscrible is also exploring other innovative initiatives, such as a crowdfunding platform for game marketing and a peer-to-peer marketplace for in-game items. These initiatives aim to provide new funding opportunities for developers and enhance the overall gaming ecosystem. By continuously improving its offerings and staying adaptable, Subscrible is well-positioned for sustained growth and long-term success in the mobile gaming industry.
