He studied for and passed the LSAT, leading to his acceptance into Case Western Reserve University School of Law. In 2009, he partnered with Justin Weatherly, who shared his passion for criminal defense. Later, Al Mokhtari, a law school friend, joined them, leading the Personal Injury division. This trio's shared vision and dedication formed the foundation of HMW Law.

Creating the Company

After graduating from law school, Brandon faced financial struggles but was determined to build his practice. He started by manually collecting arrest records from police departments and sending letters to those arrested. This initial direct mail campaign helped him gain clients and generate some income.

Brandon relied heavily on sales, marketing, and negotiation skills to attract clients despite his young age. His dedication and hard work paid off, allowing him to build a strong reputation and loyal client base. Over time, he was able to afford office space and expand his marketing efforts to include digital presence, SEO, PPC advertising, and creating an informative website.

Launching the Business

HMW Law's initial growth was driven by a strong focus on customer service. Ensuring clients felt comfortable and cared for was paramount. The firm experimented with various marketing strategies, including SEO, PPC, direct mail, social media, billboards, and commercials. They also engaged in B2B marketing and formed strategic partnerships to optimize advertising efforts.
